JONESBURG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
“Motivate-To Succeed, Value – Individual Differences, Prepare – For Lifelong Learning”
July 19th, 2013
With the new school year quickly approaching, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. First, let me say that it is great to be back in Montgomery County. I was born and raised just north of Bellflower, graduated from Wellsville-Middletown R-1, and have many fond memories of the area.
With this being my first year as a principal, I have previously taught in the Lincoln County R-III School District for twelve years (four years in special education and eight years in computer/technology education). I am currently completing my doctoral program at Missouri Baptist University, and I am excited to bring my knowledge and experiences to Jonesburg Elementary to serve you and your child in his or her educational endeavors.
On a personal note, my wife and I will be married for seven years in October. We have a daughter who will turn five and a son who will turn two in October as well. What I expect for my own children’s education is the same as what I expect for our students’ education in Jonesburg. A goal I have for Jonesburg Elementary is to become one of the best elementary buildings in the area. Having already met the faculty and staff in our building, I am confident that this will happen. I invite you to get involved in your child’s education and to look for opportunities to participate in our building.
I look forward to meeting and working with you and your child this year. Please do not hesitate to call, e-mail, or arrange to meet with me about any questions or concerns you may have.
Yours in Education,
Scott Davidson, Ed. S.
Jonesburg Elementary Principal 2013-14
